This Recommendation proposes to media service providers issuing news and current affairs content a non-exhaustive catalogue of voluntary measures for potential uptake with a view to guaranteeing the independence of their individual editorial decisions. It also encourages media services providers and EU Member States to take actions to promote media ownership transparency in the internal market.
