The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), in 1996, took part in drafting international standards for drugged driving research to assist global comparability of data in this area. An advanced draft of these standards was temporarily made available for consultation on the website of the International Council on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety (ICADTS) in March 2007. Following a peer review process, this document is expected to be presented, in August 2007, at the 18th International Conference on Alcohol, Drugs and Traffic Safety to take place in Seattle, USA. |
