The EU Justice Scoreboard is a comparative information tool that aims to assist the EU and Member States to improve the effectiveness of national justice systems. This edition is presented in a context where a number of Member States are engaged in a process of reform of their justice systems to render them more effective for citizens and businesses.

The 2014 EU Justice Scoreboard brings together data from various sources. It focuses on litigious civil and commercial cases and administrative cases. It was adopted by the European Commission on 17 March 2014.
