This comparative study can be traced back to the programme of Iceland’s Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2009. The programme called for work on a harmonisation of legislation concerning occupational health and safety in the Nordic countries. To this end, it was decided to conduct a comparative study of legislation concerning health and safety in the Nordic countries. This report is the result of this study which was performed by a Nordic project group of experts from all five Nordic countries. It was financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Icelandic Administration of Occupational Safety and Health. |
