Competitiveness Council, 28-29 May 2015

Summary:

A meeting of the Competitiveness Council was held on 28-29 May 2015. The agenda includes the following items:

+ Discussion on the Digital Single Market (DSM) strategy and adoption of conclusions on the digital transformation of European industry;

+ Endorsement of the interinstitutional agreement on a proposal revising the Package Travel Directive;

+ Agreement on the general approach regarding a proposal for establishing a new form of single-member private limited liability company;

+ Adoption of conclusions on the European Research Area (ERA) roadmap for 2015-2020 and on the ERA advisory structure;

+ Adoption of conclusions on open, data-intensive and networked research;

+ Exchange of views on the development of a European agenda for open science.
