The Council of the European Union adopted on 28 May 2018 a set of conclusions on enhanced EU security cooperation in and with Asia.

The Council notes that there are important possibilities to deepen EU security cooperation with its Asian strategic partners. It identifies key areas for deeper security engagement and underlines the need for security cooperation in and with Asian partners to become more operational.
