Consolidated annual accounts of the European Union for the financial year 2022

Summary:

The 2022 annual accounts of the European Union (EU) provide a complete overview of the EU finances and the implementation of the EU budget for the given period, including information on contingent liabilities, financial commitments and other obligations of the Union. Reflecting the multiannual nature of the EU's activities, they offer explanations of the key financial figures and their evolution. The Consolidated annual account are produced in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

This report was published by the European Commission on 3 July 2023, and eventually published in the Official Journal on 12 October 2023.
