The Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry has launched a public consultation on its draft proposal for a Regulation on vehicle construction with respect to the provision of acceptable safety levels for vulnerable road users. Intended as a replacement for the existing directive on Pedestrian Protection, the new draft also looks at the possible use of active safety measures. |
