This consultation invites the public to present its assessment of the implementation and the way forward of the 30 actions included in the 2002 Life Sciences and Biotechnology Strategy Action Plan in order for the Commission to evaluate the merits and possible shortcoming of the Strategy and draw conclusions on the best ways to maximise the contribution of modern biotechnology to the major European policy goals formulated in the renewed Lisbon Agenda, or “Partnership for Growth and Jobs”, and the Sustainable Development Strategy.
