Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/1133 amending Decision (CFSP) 2016/610 on a European Union CSDP Military Training mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM RCA)

Summary:

Decision (CFSP) 2020/1133 adopted by the Council of the European Union on 30 July 2020, introducing a number of amendments to Decision (CFSP) 2016/610 setting up a European Union CSDP Military Training mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM RCA).

Further information:

Decision (CFSP) 2016/610 established the EUTM RCA with a mandate until 24 months after the mission reached Full Operational Capability (September 2018) and a financial reference amount covering that period. Decision (CFSP) 2018/1082 extended the mandate until September 2020.

This Decision determines the extension of the mission for a further two years, until 19 September 2022. It followed the Strategic Review of the Mission.
