Summary:

Decision adopted by the Council of the European Union on 10 September 2020, introducing amendments to Decision 2014/145/CFSP concerning the sanctions in place as a result of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.

Further information:

Decision 2014/145/CFSP constitutes the framework for a set of restrictive measures against persons and entities involved in actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. The existing restrictive measures provide for both travel restrictions and the freezing of assets, and at this point applied to 175 persons and 44 entities.

Following an assessment that the situation remained unchanged since the last amendment to this Decision, the Council of the European Union decided on 10 September to extend the sanctions until March 2021.
