Decision (CFSP) 2020/472 set up an EU military operation in the Mediterranean sea (EUNAVFOR MED IRINI).

This Decision extends the operation until March 2023 and clarifies the arrangements for disposing of arms and related material seized when implementing the UN arms embargo on Libya. It was adopted by the Council of the European Union on 26 March 2021 and published in the Official Journal on 29 March.
