Summary: Regulation (EU) 2020/1323 - adopted by the Council of the European Union on 21 September 2020 - introducing amendments to Regulation (EU) 2020/123 concerning fishing opportunities in EU and non-EU waters for 2020. Further information: Council Regulation (EU) 2020/123 fixes for 2020 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks applicable in Union waters and, for Union vessels, in certain non-Union waters. These fishing opportunities are usually amended several times during the period in which they are in effect. This Regulation introduces amendments relating to a number of fish species. The proposal was tabled by the European Commission on 30 July 2020. The Council of the European Union adopted the proposed Regulation on 21 September 2020, which was published in the Official Journal on 25 September 2020. |
