Summary:Regulation (EU) 2023/1324 - adopted by the Council of the European Union on 29 June 2023 - introducing amendments to Regulation (EU) 2022/109 and Regulation (EU) 2023/194 concerning the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks. Further information:Council Regulation (EU) 2022/109 fixed the 2022 catch limits for the main commercial fish stocks in the Atlantic, the North Sea and international fisheries in which EU vessels participate. Council Regulation (EU) 2023/194 fixed for 2023 the fishing opportunities for certain fish stocks applicable in Union waters and, for EU fishing vessels, in certain non-Union waters. The amendments to the fishing opportunities take account of the latest scientific advice and developments. This Regulation was tabled by the European Commission on 30 May 2023 and adopted by the Council of the European Union on 29 June 2023. The Act was published in the Official Journal on 30 June 2023. |
