The purpose of this article is to examine the most significant changes that the Treaty of Lisbon effects to final provisions, which have been located up until now in Title VIII of the Treaty on European Union, and to the ‘General and Final Provisions’ to be found in Part VI of the Treaty establishing the European Community (the EC Treaty).
