Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa has accused the Union of applying double standards

Referring to a recent European Commission report which stated that Croatia, former Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina had not done enough to qualify for the EU's regional aid programme for the Balkans, Matesa claimed the Union was demanding that Croatia meet standards which other countries were not required to fulfil.
