Cross-European approaches to social media as a tool for police communication

This report is a result of systematic investigations into technological changes in European police forces, conducted as part of COMPOSITE, a large-scale research project
investigating change processes in European policing.

A first trend analysis, based on 72 interviews with ICT police and industry experts in 10 European countries,
identified social media as a major technological challenge across Europe.
