Current and future perspectives on EC competition law:
This new work is based upon papers given at a conference in honour of the Silver Jubilee of Professor M.R. Mok's tenure of the Chair of the Law of Economic Regulation at the University of Groningen, and addresses some of the main current issues of EC competition law. It includes contributions on issues such as the Commission's attitude to vertical restraints, the difficulties arising from the application of EC competition law by national administrations and national courts, the often unbalanced relationship between competition law and the consumer, the Commission's attitude to joint ventures and to public service obligations, the difficulties with the new Form A/B for notifications, and the wide ambit of the duty of Community loyalty imposed by Article 5 EC.

The contributors include distinguished practitioners, Commission officials and academics from Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
