Article reports that Denmark has accused the European Court of Justice, July 2008, of exceeding its authority after a recent judgment appeared to open a large loophole in the country’s tough immigration rules. Birthe Ronn Hornbach, Minister for Immigration, said that EU ministers should discuss the way in which the unelected judges of Europe’s highest court were creating their own law. 'How long should we put up with ECJ judges who exceed their authority?' she told Danish television.
