Database of the European glossary on education

The database of the European Glossary on Education currently contains terms relating to examinations, qualifications and titles (Volume 1 - 1999 Edition), educational institutions (Volume 2), Teaching staff (Volume 3) and Management, Monitoring and Support Staff (Volume 4). The database consists of around 2100 terms and their notes. The terms to do with education themselves are shown in the language of origin but their explanatory notes may be consulted in English, French and German. In addition to the explanatory note, the information for each term specifies the country concerned, and refers to the most widespread grammatical forms of the generic term and the level of education to which it relates.
