David Davis travels to Brussels and Strasbourg

In the first of a series of visits across the EU, David Davis, Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, held bilateral meetings in Brussels and Strasbourg in the week beginning 21 November 2016 with key figures as the United Kingdom Government prepared for the formal triggering of Article 50.

The visit by the Secretary of State came ahead of Prime Minister Theresa May's second European Council meeting in December 2016 and would build on the cross-government work already done to prepare for exit negotiations.
