Council Decision of 20 September 2019 establishing the position to be taken on behalf of the Union regarding the Panel of Experts referred to in Article 13.15 of the EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement.

The Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Korea, of the other part was signed on 6 October 2010 and entered into force on 13 December 2015.

In June 2012, the EU-Korea Committee on Trade and Sustainable Development established a list of experts who may serve as panellists for the purposes of Article 13.15 of the Agreement. In July 2019, the Republic of Korea informed the European Union that it wished to replace the names of several Korean experts set out in the list of experts.
