Council Decision of 12 February 2019 establishing the position to be taken on behalf of the Union as regards certain personnel matters relating to the implementation of the Treaty establishing the Transport Community.
Transport cooperation between the EU and the Western Balkans countries is governed by the Treaty establishing the Transport Community (TCT), applied provisionally since its signing in October 2017. Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia have ratified the TCT.
The Regional Steering Committee was established to be responsible for the administration of the TCT and to ensure its proper implementation. On 3 December 2018 the European Commission presented a proposal on the position to be taken on the Union’s behalf regarding the Committee's adoption of decisions on certain budgetary and personnel matters in order to ensure that the TCT is implemented.
