The EEA Joint Committee proposes to amend Annex IX (Financial Services) and Annex XIX (Consumer Protection) to the EEA Agreement in order to incorporate Directive 2014/17/EU on credit agreements for consumers relating to residential immovable property. The draft decision extends the already existing EU policy to the EEA EFTA States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).
