Amending Budget (DAB) No 3/2019 is intended to enter in the 2020 budget the surplus resulting from the implementation of the budget year 2019. The initiative aiming to amend the EU's annual budget for 2020 was published by the European Commission on 15 April 2020. It was adopted by the Council of the European Union on 6 May and by the European Parliament on 18 June. It was signed by the co-legislators on the same day and published in the Official Journal on 4 August 2020.
