Delay to court ruling turns up heat in Arcelor battle

Arcelor has called a shareholder meeting for 30 June 2006 to vote on whether its planned merger with Severstal should proceed. However a Luxembourg court decided on 22 June 2006 to withhold judgment on whether to allow the meeting to go ahead until hours before it is due to take place.
