Developing a European security perspective on China

Report of a seminar held by the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) in Paris on 3 March 2006. The seminar was dedicated to the development of European security thinking on China. It addressed the four following questions: the definition of the EU's interests in the Far-East; the security perception of China as a potential threat to the EU's interests; the issue of the arms embargo; and the development of the EU's China strategy.
