'Developments in Central and East European politics 2' brings together specially commissioned chapters by a team of international scholars focusing on the key features of the political system that have emerged following the transition to post-Communist rule. Attention is given to the pattern of events in individual countries, but the main emphasis is on the framework of politics across the region - constitutions, leaderships, parliaments, parties and elections - and the process of politics, including economic and social change, gender and foreign policy.
