Book abstract:

This second issue of Landmarks' paperback guide to the diplomatic corps in the 'capital of Europe' provides a detailed listing of the addresses and contacts of over 400 embassies represented to the Kingdom of Belgium, to the European Union, to the WEU and to NATO.

Each entry includes complete address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and web site addresses and, when available, the web site for each country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The hundreds of entries have been organised into five chapters: the first four cover the organisations listed above and the fifth chapter provides 'useful information' detailing contacts within the EU institutions, the Brussels offices of international organisations, Belgian government institutions and protocol services. Finally, an index of names is provided, enhancing the user-friendly nature of the guide.

The publication will serve as a useful desktop reference tool for a wide range of people - from the media to business, from pressure groups to government officials.
