The problem over Greece and Macedonia has been resolved, at least at the new diplomatic liaison offices which have been set up in Athens and Skopje.

The Greeks insisted that nameplates on the street outside the new offices have to say 'Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia' to avoid confusion with the 'other' place.

But it's a different story inside - plaques within the diplomatic walls are allowed to say simply 'Macedonia'.
