Disposal of stake in British Energy could lead to foreign takeover

The UK Government may give up its majority stake in British Energy, the nuclear power generator, making the Group a takeover target for the world's biggest energy companies. The UK's Trade and Industry Industry Alan Johnson was relaxed about a possible foreign takeover bid, saying he was opposed to the rise of 'economic nationalism' in some Member States.
