One of the most contentious issues in EU/UK relations after Brexit was going to be the extent to which there was still some residual connection between the United Kongdom and the EU’s Court of Justice. At first, that issue would arise in the withdrawal agreement which was being negotiated, a draft of which was tabled by the European Commission on the 28 February 2018. It would eventually arise to some extent also in the future relationship between the two sides.

In this blog the author focused on dispute settlement in the withdrawal agreement.
