Georgia is a country which, having recovered from recent social and political upheaval, is becoming increasingly open to foreign business. Part of the 'Doing Business With' range published by Kogan Page, this book provides a practical introduction to the business opportunities and regulations within Georgia and includes contributions from corporations, government agencies, and individual specialists in topics related to business in Georgia.

The book has been divided into five parts. Part 4, 'Business Development - Operating a Business in Georgia', includes sections on the transport infrastructure, customs, employment law, marketing strategy, and business culture. The final part examines prospective industry sectors including sections on the oil and gas industry, the power sector, metallurgy, agriculture, and electronics among others.

The book is a practical introduction for individuals or corporations considering investing in Georgia. Marat Terterov has also edited 'Doing Business with Russia' and has written several articles on post - Soviet politics and economics as well as undertaking a PhD examining privatisation in Egypt.
