Doomed: five reasons why the EU-Turkish refugee deal will not work

The EU continues to muddle through the refugee crisis, improvising new solutions as it goes along. The deal with Turkey concluded in March 2016 could prove to be the most controversial, and the least workable, of all the measures tried so far.
