Dossier: Anti-discrimination measures proposed

The European Commission is forging ahead with negotiations to secure the adoption by Member States and the European Parliament of its package of proposals to combat discrimination on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation. The package of legislative measures and practical actions builds on the work already undertaken on a European level to combat gender discrimination.
