Draft EU rules for chemicals ‘still do not work’

Eggert Voscherau, President of CEFIC, the European chemicals industry association, has insisted that European Union plans to subject businesses to tough new regulations remain 'unacceptable'. In a separate move, the leaders of the UK, Germany and France attacked the proposals in a joint letter to the European Commission. The US Government has made a similar complaint.
