EADS pleads for €5bn to complete A400M

Article reports that EADS, the European defence and aerospace group, has asked December 2009 the seven partner nations behind the much-delayed A400M military transport aircraft (Germany, Spain, France, Britain, Turkey, Belgium, and Luxemburg) for a further €5bn to complete the project.

The A400M aircraft made its maiden trial flight on the 11 December 2009 as the seven partner nations behind the much-delayed military transport aircraft prepared for fresh meetings on the future of the project.
