EADS replaces Forgeard and chief of Airbus

EADS acted 2 July 2006 to end weeks of management turmoil with the ousting of both Noël Forgeard, its French co-chief executive, and Gustav Humbert, chief executive of its Airbus subsidiary. The management of the Franco-German aerospace group has been in crisis since EADS' €2bn profits warning on 13 June 2006.
