EASO, country of origin information report. Afghanistan: Taliban strategies- recruitment

This report gives a brief overview of the historical developments leading to the current situation in Afghanistan: it describes the organisation of the Taliban and discusses insurgent group recruitment in detail and, where possible, with a regional approach. Rather than producing a separate chapter describing the regional situations in Afghanistan, regional illustrations have been implemented throughout the chapters. The target audience are caseworkers, COI researchers, policymakers, and decision-making authorities.
