Abstract:

This book is one of the series ‘Blackstone’s Statutes’, which aims to provide a carefully selected, regularly updated and well-sourced collection of legislation for the core subjects and major options offered on the law syllabus.

This new edition of EC Legislation has been fully revised and updated to include all relevant legislation through to June 2005. New items in the sixteenth edition include a complete updated text of the proposed new Constitution, and a table of equivalences between the Constitutional Treaty and the EC and EU Treaties. There is new material on the accession of Bulgaria and Romania; consolidated and updated Directives on equal opportunities; protection of employees in the event of insolvency of their employer; and the new competition law regulations.
