ECHA starts compliance checks of unfinished NONS dossiers

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), in December 2009, announced that it had started to check the compliance of
dossiers for substances notified before the REACH Regulation entered into force (NONS substances). The focus is on those substances produced in quantities above 100 tonnes per year for which key safety information is likely to be missing.
