ECHO ups its visibility

Staff working for Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Emma Bonino appear to have retained their sense of humour despite the recent fraud scandal surrounding the Commission's emergency aid office, ECHO.

One wag close to the Commission's self-styled angel of mercy was heard to make the following somewhat wry comment recently: “ECHO was established five years ago to give visibility to the Commission. They finally seem to have managed it.”
