This is an independent evaluation of the Economic and Social Infrastructure Operational Programme in Ireland, undertaken by Indecon International Economic Consultants. This was prepared in accordance with the Structural Funds Regulations which required that an update of the mid-term evaluation must be completed by the end of 2005. The purpose of the evaluation was to provide an analysis of financial and physical progress under the programme to the end of 2004 and to assess the likely eventual impact of the programme.
