The Economic Policy Committee (EPC) has been set up to contribute to the preparation of the work of the Council (Ecofin) in co-ordinating the economic policies of the Member States and the Community, and to provide advice to the Commission and the Council. According to its statutes, the Committee is asked to focus on structural policies for improving growth potential and employment in the Community. |
