EIGE Annual Work Programme 2014

EIGE’s 2014 Work Programme covers year two of the second Mid-Term Work Programme. Seeking to achieve EIGE’s long-term objectives and outcomes, it implements the key activities assigned to the Institute by its Establishment Regulation and the Commission’s Strategy for Equality between Women and Men 2010–2015. It also contributes to identifying and making visible the benefits of gender equality for the economic growth and development of European society. In planning its work, EIGE considers the priorities of the European Pact for Gender Equality 2011-2020, the Europe 2020 strategy, the European Union’s long-term strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, and the European Semester, the yearly cycle of economic policy coordination set up by the Commission.
