El posicionamiento de la Unión Europea ante los nuevos retos de seguridad: La Estrategia Contra la Proliferación de Armas de Destrucción Masiva

The emergence of new threats has led the EU to draw up the European Security Strategy
and the Strategy Against Proliferation of WMD in 2003. With these strategies, the EU is intended to act with a common position in the international panorama. However, the CFSP remains as coordinated policy, so therefore, their performance is limited both by the Member States and by other international actors. In this study, we analyse the performance of the EU regarding Strategies and if it can become an alternative to other actors within the Current International System.
