Electoral pilots at the CEP and local elections. Consultation paper

Measures to allow piloting of innovative voting methods at the 2004 combined European parliamentary (CEP) and local authority elections were unveiled by the UK government on 17 September 2003, in legislation aimed at improving voter access and convenience. To address any implementation issues, the Government launched a nine week public consultation. Closing date for responses: 19 November 2003.
