EMCDDA and Europol Directors review new substances entering Europe’s illicit drug market

The Directors of the EU drugs agency (EMCDDA) and the European law enforcement agency (Europol) met at the EMCDDA in Lisbon on 25 March 2010 to review new substances entering Europe's illicit drug market and to endorse two joint reports. The first of these is the EMCDDA-Europol annual report on the implementation of the 'Council Decision on the information exchange, risk assessment and control of new psychoactive substances' and the second focuses on the new drug mephedrone.
