The European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), on 1 July 2008, launched a new web application and database, Fonte. From now on, the EMCDDA, Reitox national focal points and other key partners will collect, validate and store drug-related data almost entirely through Fonte. Drug-related data collected from numerous sources since the birth of the EMCDDA, and stored in various systems, have now been migrated into one central repositary. This allows easy access to historical data, thereby facilitating scientific analysis. |
