United Kingdom business leaders called November 2007 on the UK government to stand firm against attempts by the European Union to impose new rights for temporary and agency workers on employers. The proposal was discussed at the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council, Brussels, 5-6 December 2007.
